Induction of a New Fellow to American College of Trial Lawyers
The American College of Trial Lawyers, one of America’s premier legal associations, has inducted Goodin MacBride partner Wayne Lamprey as a Fellow.
Mr. Lamprey’s selection was based on his entire record as a trial lawyer, including several notable trials on behalf of whistleblower clients or involving claims under the False Claims Act. Mr. Lamprey recently participated in a panel about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Dodd-Frank Act’s whistleblower provisions.
Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship is by invitation only to experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated a mastery of the art of advocacy, and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.
Lawyers must have at least fifteen years trial experience before being considered for Fellowship. College membership cannot exceed one percent of the lawyers in any state or province. At present there are approximately 5,752 College members.
