Brian Cragg practices before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and other state and federal regulatory agencies and courts, with a special emphasis on energy matters. His clients include a trade association of independent energy producers; solar, wind, geothermal, landfill gas, and other renewable energy producers; owners and operators of conventional electric power plants; energy storage companies; cities and other governmental entities; demand response providers; and electric transmission line developers, among others.

Mr. Cragg’s recent activities include: persuading the CPUC to adopt rules and practices that promote fair competition between independent energy suppliers and electric utilities, conducting due diligence review for the sale and purchase of dozens of solar energy facilities, advising Fortune 500 companies on energy supply and compliance with greenhouse gas reduction regulations, working with the California Energy Commission and the Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System to obtain Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) eligibility for several million Renewable Energy
