Francine T. Radford


Francine T. Radford has been with Goodin MacBride's business litigation group since 1993, and became a partner in the firm in 2000. She is admitted to all federal district courts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

professional activities

  • Ms. Radford has been an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, has served as an arbitrator for the Bar Association of San Francisco Homeless Shelter Pro Bono Arbitration Project, and a member of the board of the San Francisco Women Lawyers Alliance. She currently serves on the board of Berkeley Parents Network.

Ms. Radford has wide-ranging litigation experience in prosecuting and defending claims for breach of contract, fraud and negligent misrepresentation, securities law violations, unfair competition and breach of fiduciary duty, among others. She has represented clients in many different industries, including energy, telecommunications, software, and agriculture. She has experience in federal and state courts as well as significant arbitration and mediation experience. Notable results on the plaintiff’s side include obtaining multi-million dollar settlements and arbitration victories for the full amount of the claim; on the defense side, she has obtained dismissal on summary judgment as well as on motions to dismiss or demurrer.

A summer associate at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman) in 1992, she was also managing editor of the Golden Gate University Law Review and won American Jurisprudence awards in Contracts, Torts, Conflict of Laws and Criminal Procedure.
