regulatory law | climate change | Climate Change Overview

Our attorneys’ climate change practice encompasses a broad range of activities. These include advising and representing the developers and operators of renewable electric generating plants; tracking the development of California’s ambitious program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (AB 32); and advising clients on how to comply with greenhouse gas-related regulations. We also alert clients to business opportunities and cost-reduction strategies arising from proposed cap-and-trade markets for greenhouse gas emissions allowances and tradable renewable energy credits.

In addition, the our attorneys work with "clean tech" firms to find business opportunities in the emerging markets created by governmental efforts to combat global warming in California.
